Hi! I’m Heather, Principal Designer at Fox Interior Design. Art, Design, and Organization have been passions of mine since childhood. While other children were drawing kittens & unicorns, I was sketching furniture, & floor plans! Pursuing a career in a creative field was inevitable. In addition to earning my Degree in Interior Design from BCIT, I also have extensive experience working in Early Childhood Education. Bringing these strengths together gives me the unique ability to create “Family Centered Interiors”. By applying my knowledge in child development & learning, along with solid interior design principles, foundations & a little creativity, I am able to design environments in which the whole family can thrive.
With a solid understanding of modern family dynamics, I prioritize organization, developmentally appropriate elements, purposeful space planning, and thoughtful styling to design beautiful spaces where joy & functionality flow seamlessly together. So while functionality is vital to a space, I also believe that the design should tell your story & sooth your soul. Taking into account your unique personality, preferences, & situation, I help to create a home that welcomes you in after a long day while meeting your needs and allowing the whole family to thrive.
