This brand new townhouse was upgraded and personalized from its “builder basic” bones.
When it comes to a family home, storage is key and adding some colour and personality helps to take this home from cookie cutter to one of a kind.
Built-ins were installed in both the family room and dining room. The pendant lights in the dining room and above the kitchen island were switched out.
In the kitchen, the builder grade stainless sink was upgraded to a workstation, single bowl, white composite sink by Kaus, and the chrome faucet and cabinet & drawer pulls were switched to matte black.
In the Powder Room, we installed a board and batten wall treatment to the lower portion of the walls and a bright whimsical floral wallpaper by Rifle Paper Co. above. The basic builders mirror and light fixture were replaced and the chrome faucet and all accessories were switched to matte black.
In the living room, a custom mantle and light gray marble mosaic tiles were added to create an inviting focal point.
And finally, abstract custom applied mouldings were added to the side wall and up into the stairwell to add texture and interest.
